Meanwhile, Rook (back in Tasverell) is fleeing pursuit, his captors chasing him and tracking him magically. He'll need to call in some favours and find a safe place to lay low, but that might just bring him back to what truly haunts him. Time is running out and his friends don't know the danger they are in.
